Notice of Hearing on Variance Application

The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Cassville will meet on October 18, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Municipal Building in the Village of Cassville for the following purpose:

PUBLIC HEARING on the application of Sharon Stoll relating to the properties described as:

Village of Cassville
Parcel #111-00342-0000
421 West Bluff Street
SEC 20, T 03 N, R 05 W, NW¼ of SW¼ ORIGINAL PLAT LOT 3 EXC 50' OFF N END BLOCK 49

Village of Cassville Zoning Ordinance 16 Section 16.03 (3.07)(1) Requires:

  1. Driveways shall have a minimum side yard setback of three feet, except those driveways upon corner lots shall have a minimum set back of fifteen feet from the lot corner abutting the intersection of two or more streets.

Grounds of Appeal: Sharon Stoll has requested to construct a driveway from the road to the rear portion of the parcel, running two feet in from and alongside the property line, and a parking area at the rear of the parcel, also to be placed two feet from the property line.
