2026 AIRPORT RUNWAY CRACK FILL AND CHIP SEAL PROJECT
The Village of Cassville (OWNER) is requesting bids for the Cassville Municipal Airport Crack Filling and Chip Seal Project.
Bids for the project will be received by OWNER until August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. local time. All bids received will be read out loud on August 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
Scope of Work – Crack Filling and Chip Sealing
- Thorough cleaning of specified runway areas, removal of debris and contaminants
- Filling and sealing of cracks meeting ASTM D6690 standards
- Seal coat with CRS-2P Emulsions
- Rounded pea stone/river rock
Alternate Bid – Micro-sealing/Micro-surfacing
- Thorough cleaning of specified runway areas, removal of debris and contaminants
- Micro-sealing/Micro-surfacing must meet FAA and ASTM specifications for airfield pavement repair
Both the Bid and Alternate Bid must include materials, labor, equipment, cleanup, and incidental work, including application methods and quality control measures. All work will be coordinated with the Streets Committee Chair and Airport Manager.

The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Village. Proposed use of rounded pea stone or river rock aggregate is subject to Village approval for airport use.
Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
