Wisconsin State Fair 2023
The Wisconsin State Fair is an annual event held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee. The modern fair takes place in August and lasts 11 days.
Approximately 1,200 goats are shown by their exhibitors at the Wisconsin State Fair each year. Open Boer Goat Shows are sanctioned by the American Boer Goat Association and our Open Dairy Goat Shows are sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association.
Grant County was well represented this year at the Wisconsin State Fair. Cassville Country Buddies 4-H Club, Gwen Riedl, Olivia and Iris Adams, and their leader Bobbi Jo Riedl attended this year’s, Goat Show.
Gwen Riedl was 1st place in Dariy showmanship 2nd place in Boer Showmanship, 4th place in Boer quiz, and 4th place in Boer Communications.
Olivia Adams won the dairy quiz and the Boer quiz.
