Eckstein Memorial Library Curbside Pick Up Guidelines

Eckstein Memorial library will begin to offer curbside pickup on Monday April 27th. This service and guidelines are subject to change at any time.

Patrons may request items by either calling the library at 725-5838, emailing ([email protected] or [email protected]) or messaging the library on Facebook.  The only items for check out during this time are items owned by the Eckstein Memorial Library.

Once a request is made for items, staff will do their best to fill the order. 

Please limit yourself to 4 new book titles at a time. This is any book that was released in the last 4 months. We are asking this as we are working from our collection only and want to give everyone an opportunity to read the new releases.  We are limiting each individual library card to 10 items at a time. Again, this is due to only having our collection to pull from.

Orders will be available for pick up by the library door in a black bin between 1pm to 5pm on Mondays and 1pm and 6pm on Wednesday. If items are not picked up by 5pm on Monday or 6pm on Wednesday, they will NOT be left outside the building and may be picked up on the next available pick up day.

We ask that if you are feeling ill (ie: have a fever, cough, and issues with breathing) to please not leave your home to pick up books.

We are also asking if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19, please keep any checked-out items until you are well again and when your items are returned please inform staff of the illness, so staff are aware to quarantine item(s).

All returned items need to be placed in the drop box.

We are excited about this opportunity to serve our patrons again! We hope with these guidelines we will be able to safely provide items to our patrons and keep our staff well, so we can continue to provide this service.
